Yellow Top under the hood

i changed my alternator on my 30v v6 (the same engine you have, i believe)

and let me tell you.... that was a *****

you have to take the entire front end off of the car... my belt's 1/4" too big, but i'll deal with a few seconds of squealing on startup over doing that again, def. a difficult job

why wouldnt it be? you still got yerself a great battery. n then if you ever did decide to go to a party or something out in some woods yah can turn up tha speakers with yer car off for 3 hours or more.. ive done that when i was workin and it drained the bat a lil but not enough to keep it from starting and i had it going from 12 in the afternoon till 5 one day painting a barn.. i didnt have the bass full out though cus neighbors n shit. its a decent battery. yah should def get it.

JL noob loser here

yellow top d34 is more comparible to a kinetik 1400 but the 1400 still has a little more reserve......
I need to preface this with saying both are quality batteries, and I'm sure you will be happy with either...

BUT...

I'll have to disagree... I'd take the D34 over the 1400 or the 1800... would even be a tough choice comparing to the 2000. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But, what do I know... it's not like I've tested it or anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

LOL yah that scottiej guy thinks his vans loud and its not at all. LOL jfwy. How do they group batteries and shit for optima, cuz i want two for my truck, which would be best? I want two red tops under the hood. It has two stock (1972 f100) and I was just wanting to get 2 decent starting batts so I can get started on buying shit for my next setup.

You're probably gonna need the G34, but might as well go for the 34/78 so you get the side posts too.

They do have a few big batteries.... the 2400 (72lbs.) is the biggest... and you can get them modded to make 17v banks too.
Is this what you mean, or are you talking about the size of the cells?
i meant the storage banks not the voltage output. i think my yellow top says CCA 750. while kinetiks have..what 2400? tha will last much longer than mine i wish i could afford one

the 2400 , 2000, 1800, 1400, 800 and 600 are named as such for the number of watts they will ideally supply power for in a realistic trouble free way(the line was brought out with the increased popularity of large class d amps so it was "spec'd" for that task). people also use 600's and 800's as caps. there are alot of cars using both the 600 and 800's to start thier cars with the huge intakes (think they were drifters or some other form of racing ) helped set up some at sema.)there are several cells being used in a few award winning low rider trucks and street machines that power everything. there are a couple of other things too i cant say as of yet because it hasnt been announced aka press released yet ....
