Shift lock affecting system?

When I press my brake and when the shift lock kicks in my display on my head unit turns off then back on. Ive been having some problems with my system lately too which i posted about. Which include rpms droping at idle and dimming lights with only running 600 rms. Last night my battery died on me after my system hitting real hard a few times and the car wouldnt start. Altho this morning my car started right up. Is there something loose? Any help would be great, Thanks.

why dont you check, instead of askin if somthing is lose?
