Now I have a pickup with a kenwood HU jl audio amp c3-650s in the doors and a 10 inch sub

Welcome (newish to the forum myself). I grew up around Pyle, Pyramid, Phoenix Gold, SXE, Red Line 10's, Kicker, THE Punch, etc. My PPI sedona apa 100 ix is fist bumping you as I type this.

My first EQ was a pyramid had like 50 watts it did make a big difference It's amazing what we have now from technology ... mike
