YAY! To Judge Ruling Against ID Being Taught In Science Class

ur right, and i say yes it should along with evolution
And you are frankly wrong. No, it's not an opinionated topic. ID is NOT science, and therefore can NOT be part of a public education's science cirriculum. It really is that simple.

No, but it certainly rules out evolution.
Hardly.

Go buy a box of tooth pics. Open the box and drop all the toothpics on the floor. Do you see any letters? Yeah im sure there are. Do you see any words? Its possible, a simple word. Do you see a sentence? If not, drop it a few more times, maybe you can make a one that will make sence. Now can you make a paragraph?(You will need a few more boxes) A story? Never. Cells are even harder to make than words out of toothpics.
Horrible, horrible analogy.

Who knows? There is so much more to this universe than we even see right now, I think it is impossible to speculate what it was like before the big bang or what caused it. For example, opposing pairs of virtual particles pop into existence all the time, seeminlgy out of nowhere. Where do they come from? who knows. Normally they annihilate each other instantly, but at the event horizon of a black hole, one is sucked in and the other thrown out into space. Something from "nothing". Maybe there was already something here before our universe was formed, and something triggered to cause it to expand.

is there ever such a thing as effect without cause (big bang theory)?

can life come from non-life (non-living bacteria coming to life and evolving)?

if your answer to both of these is a 100% yes, regardless of what your explanation is, we are idiots to each other and we all wasted time explaining to each other all 14 -15 pages of this stuff

If you honestly think that an event presently not defined or thoroughly explained by science (which is still in it's infancy in the grand scheme of things) proves the existance of an intelligent being, regardless of what your explanation is, we are idiots to each other and we all wasted time explaining to each other all 14 -15 pages of this stuff

well squeakers, science will never be able to give an answer to those 2 questions.

Good for you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I understood what you implied genius, but your statement hardly reinforced your implication. It was a very unpersuasive comment.

YAY! You dumped the toothpicks in your horrible analogy! So what? Still doesn't prove there is a god, and doesn't sway me in the least to agree with you that god or an intelligent being created the universe or anything within it. Hence the sarcastic "good for you" comment.

dear squeakies,

how come you don't believe God exists?

like,

You guys like to assume that evolution works randomly. Keep in mind that there is order in this universe... things don't happen randomly. The fact that when you let go of that toothpick, it drops... shows that you are still grounded by the order of the universe. That analogy shows nothing.

I'd just like to point out that I DO believe in God actually... but my belief is faith based, and I do not think it belongs in a science class.
