yay I'm in the 150 club!

i'm swapping out my tfe next year for the bass 12k, but not sure if the hd 15k can do half ohm.
Ya DJ Scrub on CACO is running two at half ohm but its only been a couple days lol, He is going to a show this weekend so we will see how that works out ? Shizzzon says there good but gotta keep a eye on voltage esp on the high side.

lots of potential for those amps the way it looks. i want to see the rail voltage measured at some point but really clamp numbers would be nice too lol

two bass 15ks and 4 4inch coil fi made subs

maybe walled

I met somebody local who knows people with a termlab. When I get a chance, I'm going to go meet up with them and get metered
Ya I know I am curious ! I bet you put up some good numbers with your new setup ! I know power and electrical wont be a problem as you got that more than covered ! Cant wait to see !

A few of us are curious about this...

I'm curious as well, but I don't feel like spending another $400 for a meter

Actually, I've been having some problems with my US alternator. It was charging at 13.7v, which I'd expect because It was using the stock plug and being powered by the ECU. I was getting quicker drop with that alternator than the stock one. It was drawing the other three down. It was causing an error with the PCM and I'd get "charging system failure" on the dash display.

So, I paid extra for a "PCM bypass module" that was supposed to make it charge at 14.7v. Well, they didn't send any directions, and the color wires the rep told me didn't match my truck. Hooked it up today and tried both wires. Now, the alt charges at 13.5 and will even kick off randomly. I am now getting a full volt more voltage drop since I installed the PCM bypass. I'm reconnecting the stock wires the next time I drive my truck. I'm pissed.

They want me to send the alt back and get a new regulator now. I can tell you I'm not paying return shipping to get this done. I paid $1,250 and it isn't even working as well as the stock alt. I am frustrated after a day of troubleshooting.

Yep. Hoping to see that truck putting up big numbers. I might even meter myself soon, though I doubt I'm even in the 140 club, lol.
Thanks, what are you running now?

When do I get a demo?
Any time you want to come to Iowa, lol

I'm just running a single Fi Q15 in the trunk of a 2013 Hyundai on an FSD FZ2600D, forward firing, sealed off, 3.9 ft³, 2 6" aero ports, tuning can be adjusted to either 30 or 44 hz. Kenwood DDX372, 2 Vifa XT25s, 2 PWX-6s, Synergy WFO 4.150X running mids/tweeters active. Stock alt (for now), voltage rarely drops below 14.

It's my little daily commuter. I put 400 miles a week on it. Lol

Why do you have to run the stereo alts through the pcm ? Cant you just wire them completly bypassing the truck wiring ? I know our trucks are different but mine are all GM 4 pins but I only use two wires out of each plug ? One wire to ignition source to turn them on and off and other wire to battery to sence voltage to turn on and off. I dont know if yours are two pin plugs and may need the pcm to control them ? Probably would have been much easier to get four pin alts for your stereo alts and wired them direct. I got no problems with mine in fact I had used diodes on sence wires to keep them charging up to 15v and now with the Taramps that was a worry so I just replaced diodes with fuses and shes back to 14.4 charging and all is well. You might hit up DJScrubs on caco as he has a newer tahoe with multiple alts and alot of alt knowledge.

And why not one of these http://mobileaudioforum.com/forum/showthread.php?8550-SPL-Meter-under-200 atleast you will know where your at or close too it ?

Bro when you gunna learn.... Excessive amperage Alts... No problems over here so far. Knock on wood. You could have got two excessive amperage 350a Alts for less then 1 us alternator

Got mine in last week, couldn't agree more. The third time I've bought from him and I've always been happy with performance and reliability.

I tried telling him after he spent like $1000 on his singer alt.. my excessive 350s were $550 powered coated all pretty. And I never had a problem and a few of my buddies run them and not a single problem yet.
