yay I'm in the 150 club!

I tried telling him after he spent like $1000 on his singer alt.. my excessive 350s were $550 powered coated all pretty. And I never had a problem and a few of my buddies run them and not a single problem yet.
His truck has enough engine room too. Hell if i had the engine space, i'd be all over that sh*t.

Why do you have to run the stereo alts through the pcm ? Cant you just wire them completly bypassing the truck wiring ? I know our trucks are different but mine are all GM 4 pins but I only use two wires out of each plug ? One wire to ignition source to turn them on and off and other wire to battery to sence voltage to turn on and off. I dont know if yours are two pin plugs and may need the pcm to control them ? Probably would have been much easier to get four pin alts for your stereo alts and wired them direct. I got no problems with mine in fact I had used diodes on sence wires to keep them charging up to 15v and now with the Taramps that was a worry so I just replaced diodes with fuses and shes back to 14.4 charging and all is well. You might hit up DJScrubs on caco as he has a newer tahoe with multiple alts and alot of alt knowledge.
And why not one of these SPL Meter under $200 atleast you will know where your at or close too it ?
You have to run one with the stock plug or the PCM throws a code and won't let you go over 1500 RPM

Bro when you gunna learn.... Excessive amperage Alts... No problems over here so far. Knock on wood. You could have got two excessive amperage 350a Alts for less then 1 us alternator
You still have to use the stock plug though. It makes no difference what brand it is, the stock plug controls the regulator with the PCM and limits charging voltage.

You don't get it.

6 hr drive?!
No way. I can't stand driving long distances.

Funny thing is my boss went there Mon and lives in Mount Vernon.
I think I'm joking about how long it'd take, but Tuesday it took me an hour and a half on the 405 alone going to Redmond, so you never know. Lol

I used to drive to Redmond on a daily basis, Genie Industries, and hated the traffic, rude people, now there's tolls put up, etc. Almost 100 miles round trip. That's gonna rack up the mileage real quick on any vehicle.

I-405 and I-5 are the worst traffic conditions in the state.

I'll gladly keep my 6 mile trip to work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
