I just finished hooking everything back up. All that I changed was my box wasnt sealed so I caulked, painted, carpeted the box. one of my sub box wires was to short so the wire going to my 1 of my subs from my amp is 14 gauge while the other is 12 gauge.

After everything is hooked up the subs just sound one note, like flat sounding. On put on, the sub doesnt drop to hit low notes. It just all sounds like 1 note.

Is there a common error where this is the result and if so where? Im going out right now to make sure all of my wiring is correct, but I checked it 3 times.

Also the amp gains are up I checked that first.

its a sealed box, and yes it had well over 3 days to dry. The subs are 2 stereo integrity mag v4's The require 2.14 cubic feet sealed. Im at about 2.22 give or take .02! I dont think it has anything to do with the box, because I had them in a box nearly 2.5 and it wasnt sealed that well at all and it sounded alot better then this does.

Im using 2 Sudnwon Audio 1000 strapped. The amps were working fine about a week ago when everything was taken out. they have been properly cared for since they were out of the truck!
