How picky are you about midrange response?

I've heard that's where they could use improvement, and obviously would benefit from bi-amping...

ehh,well im sure they're better then the pioneer speakers im running now, and by bi-amping do you mean amping the speakers?

bi amping = using 2 amplifiers one for mids one for highs

did they change the xxx mids were the old ones different i thought they were some bad *** mids

Not trying to knock, as I really like RE, but my brother had the XXX components--I wasn't a fan. Granted, he didn't do everything he could (deaden the doors, use a nice SQ amp, "perfectly" place tweeters) but I would look elsewhere with what's out there

i think they sound amazing. the SQ is definatly there, and the midbass is LOUD. the mids are beefy. IIRC they are about 7-10lbs peice. i was very impressed by them. but i heard two sets in a blazer but im sure 1 set would still kickass

Well i will be deadning my doors if i buy some of these, and i have a crunch powering my speakers, i have plenty of power going to them and i listen to mostly rap, and anything with heavy bass. I plan to mount my tweeters on my doors also,

will the xxx components fit in these kick panels fine? because i know these wont fit in my door. I'm afraid they will be too deep.
