Adire Extremis 6.8: 3.75". Without pole vent?

I'm making my kicks to accomidate this, they are *big*.

1" of rear clearance for the xxx 6.5 is a little overkill.

Well, I'm going for at least 1/2 in my new kicks, which the base is drying right now. 1" is just as universal standard for subs..

MAKE THEM HUGE!!! .2 to .3 is bigger than you're thinking... trust me...

For example... my old door pods...

Well, unfortunately today I got so P-Oed at, well, everything, that I just made them to fit my Rainbows and about 1" extra. These are my first kicks so if need be I'll make another set with more experience under my belt. Hardest part is definitely aiming the kicks with a laser light, and then securing it into place.
