yea...i installed one component and tweeter to my car. its horrible...same thing as my boss factory speakers. it just has alittle less distortion...well i get wat i paid for.....just wanted to give you a headsup and dont buy it.

if you are getting distortion, did you ever think they could not have been properly tuned, or your amp is clipping?

Yea you have the octane r series. They arent made to produce alot of bass. Its a dinky entry level speaker. If you wanted stronger midbass, and clearer sound then the octane zrs, or the xenons would have given you much better midbass. Ill admit the octane rs are just like the infinity reference's. YOu should have got the zrs or xenons.
