xxx mids and seas lotus reference tweet. The actually don't look that out of place when you can see the whole interior sails, trim, dash all kinds of black in there those pics just don't show it.

yea it does kinda look out of place . . but if it sounds good thats all that matters in the end I guess.

It was not the color that set me off. It sticks out pretty far from the door itself. I like a smooth almost stock look in vehicles. In that vehicle I would have extendid the pod into the entire bottom part of the door, while trying to keep the speaker as flush as I could. But that's just me

I would have matched it with the door panel's color. Either that, or add a little more black on the door somewhere.

I agree with you on the stock look part, I'm just lazy and didn't want to redo half the panel. That and they are sealed, not IB and you know those mids aren't exactly small to make an eclosure around. The back of the enclosure is still really close to the window rails.

It sounds really good in my opinion and I've heard my fair share of setups over the last 10 or so years. I'm happy with it.

considering I drove a bit through the surround I pretty much decided to not cover it up when i was sanding, hece the messy cone.

Umm...they need larger enclosures...SHIT!
