ya im thinkin bout goin with 2 Alpine Type R 12s in a ported box and i was wondering if that was a good setup and how it would sound in a trunk.

i have one 12" type r in my trunk...sounds good...really loud...i dont even have my best amp connected to it yet...id get it..

I just one one 12'' Alpine Type R and mines in a ported box in a trunk. Still playing around with the settings but it sounds good and gets loud. Mines loud inside the cabin but not too loud outside the car which is good because not alot rattles and its not obnoxious sounding. I don't have any sound deadning either.
