XS Batteries

No magic spl dust here at all. Just a battery that is designed for mobile audio by someone that actually set World Records and won more competitions than most people could ever hope to. People can say what they want about virgin lead v/s recycled lead but it is a proven point that recycled lead has impurities that will decrease the life and performance of the battery. Not only is it the lead used in the battery, but also the grid work on the lead plates, the lead-tin technology, and also the internal busing of the cells in the battery. The 3 year warrant along with support is also something you will not get from the cheaper options.

Sure you can find cheaper options. No question about that. Why do so many competitors run them? Most of the top competitors have have ran other batteries they received for free from different companies and they saw what they were loosing in performance. Oh, and we do not give batteries away for free to anyone. For instance Steve Mick gained more than a volt difference after switching out his batteries to XS Power. When you are at this level a volt is a HUGE difference in score. DC Rob just set a World Record with a 3 run average of 150.2 in a trunk. The only trunk car to have a 150.2 average.

If you are not going to put your car on a meter or really care about getting every tenth out of it, then the cheaper options will work for you. XS Power is by no means for everyone and there are many cheaper options out there for you. If you are going for titles and World Records, then every tenth counts!

As far as paying for our marketing......... I would dare to say that the other companies that offer cheaper options spend a LOT more on marketing than we do. Another thing to think about is if you are running a 4,300 watts on a 12V system and never drop below 14.4V you are either no where close to 4,300watts of clamped power or you have over 400 amps of alternator power. 12V batteries do not do anything for you over 12.9V on a load. Anything over 12.9V is alternator power.

OP if you want the best get XS unless you want to but 2 of something else. The people that have to run 10 Deka's would only need 3-4 XS

Since he's new to car audio I doubt he's gonna have a huge system that needs multiple batts. He will most likely be fine with a cheap duracell agm from sams. It'd help to know what your system is though OP.

I dont think he's looking for a battery, I think he was just inquiring about XS power batteries. Why are they widely used and expensive.

Even if you are chasing tenths on the meter there are batteries that will out perform them, and the people u see with 10 dekas, probably paid less for them then the 3-4 xs, and I can assure you that 10 deka 9a31s would walk all over 3-4 xs d3100s , so ur talking from assumption not facts

In a daily setup u will not notice a difference from one brand to the next. I have probably ran more brands of batts then most, and they all will do as they are intended to do

I disagree. There are plenty of guys who have swapped to XS power and gained. I run daily and I've noticed a big difference. Plus the Kinetik and Deka batteries that I've used all have died within 1 yr. The XS Power batteries I've used (currently using still to this day) have lasted well over 3 yrs, and my under hood battery well over 4 yrs. You cant discredit that.

They may have cost less but twice the weight and space dont matter right? Funny how people finally see the light and go XS with gains. I'm a nutthugger but I'm not a idiot. If you have ran so many batteries they must not have worked for you. You might of saved money doing it right the first time.

Lmfao. Usually you give good advice but that's the dumbest **** I've ever heard you say.. Really dude? Come on.. Lmfao, the AH rating on my Dekas is comparable with a 3400, your saying I need 10 Dekas to run a 5k set up as to where I'd only need 3 XS D3100s?.... I'm running 2 total, one under the hood location doing main duties the other in back and the lowest I drop full tilt at .5 is from 15.3 to 14.4. Give me a break..

So the owner of the van in Dallas, not gonna mention his name with 18 XS 3000s you send him, you guys aren't gonna fully sponsor him like you said you were anymore? Because as of not too long ago I have an email from you guys saying you will be sending him the money he paid for the batts once it gets out to shows..

Ohhhhhhh..... Maybe they're just partly refunding him?
