does this amp require a ground wire? i read the manual and it doesnt say anything about a ground. the terminals are labeled B+, R, B- . also, this amp has to be connected to postive and negative terminal of battery? any help is appreciated.

The B- is ground. I think PG follow the ground wire to the battery school of thought? There is no right or wrong way, just different theories about the best way to hook up amps. Both theories have good points. Do a search.

When I hook up my Xenons, I DON'T plan to run a wire direct to the battery...I will wire it the normal way using a good ground point and gounding block.

in a great install all your audio components (headunti included) sshould be all grounded at the same point.

its also better to run a - wire from the battery to a distro block and run - from that point.

seperate grounded points open up the door for a ground loop( a big *** antenna for interference).
