Ok I recently entered an agreement with another member of this forum to trade amps. Cool everything going alright until I get that dreaded PM that my amp was D.O.A. By the way its a vfl 150.1, amp was working perfectly before I shipped ran at 1 ohm 12 volts for about 3 or 4 months until I got my H.O. alt then it was ran at 14v. I have 1/0 power and grounds but because I have kids I didn't have the remote wire hooked up instead I had a switch connected to a 12v source so the amp had to be manualy turned on. Before I shipped it I even opeden her up just to take pics and what not nothing looked burnt or smelled funy, I did every thing by the book I even shipped it just as it was shipped to me. Any suggestions.

well did you take pics of the guts and date it to have good proof that it was fine when you sent it?

Doubt it but talked to turnitdown he told me that a corner on the amp was bent and I sure as hell didn't send it like that so I guess ups will be sending me a check when I get this sorted out. Well the MT is waiting for a recone I'm waiting for some more money, and my alt to come back, and the t9512 back up sub will just sit for a while. Also I will be looking for 2.5kwrms + in the $500 range if possible.

Update. I filed a claim with ups for the amount I paid for the amp+the shipping.They picked it up yesterday now im waiting for them to inspect it to see if it was "their fault". I hope all goes well.Also if they do pay the claim do I keep the amp or do they get it.
