Looking for a 10" D2 preferably another Type R. I've got an amp that does 1000W @ 4 ohms so I want something that'll match up well with that. Pics will be up later tomorrow. But its in perfect condition. I never even had it hooked up except to test in a friends box cuz I haven't had time to build my own box.

Just run it bridged at 8 ohms. If your amp truly makes 1000w rms at 4 ohms, the 10" Type R is only like 500 watts rms I believe. So @ 8 ohms that amp should be making 600-800 watts rms considering when you drop the impedance you don't always exactly double the power due to efficiency losses.

Yea thats what the plan is if I keep it. I think 600W would be a gift though and I definately don't think I'd be up in the 700-800W range running at 8 ohms

Well if you look at most of the power rating charts, if you take it's max power and double the impedance, due to being more efficient, double the impedance is still usually 55-70% of the power.

How you liking those Type S 6.5"? I just picked up a set today, the component ones. I replaced my midbass driver already, just not the tweets yet. I do notice a bit more low end extension, but not too much of a difference overall to be honest. I guess I need to let them break in. Once I get the tweets mounted and go active with my 4ch for the front stage, I'm sure it'll sound much better.

I don't have anything to compare them to but for $20 they're amazing!
