So heres the problem : I had an MA audio m1900 running two mtx 7500s, and i messed around one day and grounded an allen wrench to the amp chassis/speaker terminal trying to connect subs not realizing the acc was still on. I guess this shorted out something in the amp and made a squealing/buzzing noise through the subs when the cars running. I removed the amp and subs, sold the subs, sold the HU, and sent the amp back for repair. Now a month later i have a new HU, new subs, and a diff (used) amp im using till i get mine back in the mail. I just went out and bought a new set of rockford RCAs to replace my metra rcas which i thought could have something to do with it, no effect. WTF is going on here? Im thinking its the used amp has the same problem as the amp i pulled? What else could it be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
Clifs - Messed up previous amp, put in diff one, same alternator whine issue as old one which i messed up, but didnt do the same to this one.
