WTF?! Question about a fuse block

I have this fuse block http://www.scosche.com/efx.aspx?CategoryID=56&ItemID=PWFHI to use on my main 1/0 wire to my amps. I bought it online not realizing it was an open design like this. Is this ok to use under the hood where it will be exposed? I guess if it matters, or for piece of mind, I could tape it up with waterproof electrical tape. It's going to be mounted out of sight anyway.
