WTB with 15v and 6000 watts rms

my friend learned the hard way not to put an MLA on his car....put it in his magnum and it ****ed his computer up.....so now he had to do external regulated h/o alt.
Cricket put one in his car, and it kept popping fuses.

I advised against it because i knoe that your car and batteries should not be charged at more than 2.4x per cell (14.4v)

anything a lot higher than that for a long time is terrible for your elec system, and overcharging your batteries.

im sure it could handle 6000rms..i think we all know this..lol.
Daily? I think not. 3" coil+6k daily=//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

ive found subs like the powerbass 4xl that can handle the power, but the highly recomend not playing music thru it. . just burps...

You'd want a 4" coil for 6k rms daily. A 3" coil isn't going to handle that power thermally.

ya the 4xl has 4 inch coils , they say 10000 watts on it for 30 second burps and 30000 on it for 5 second burps, but i want somethin that i can play music on for daily and compete in possible like a street beat class. .

If it says 10k on 30 second burps, it should take 6k daily. Plenty of 4" coiled drivers out there that can take the power.

not so fast homie.... You know that it isnt all about the size of the coil....that the motor cooling.efficency had a lot to do with it as well....
