Ok my buddy is a retard and goes buying things before doing research (like me buying a cap stupidly lol) anyways..he says he bought a quantam amp thats 1200watts rms...mono then he bought two dual two ohm pionner champion series subs..wats the best way he can wire them up?..will wiring them seperatly down to one ohm and putting them in the two seperate channels give him 600rms a sub er wat?? how should they be wired?

Is the amp 1 Ohm or 2 Ohm stable. If it's 1 ohm, you're going to have to look into a different amp. Also is it rated at 1200 RMS, cause I was reading somewhere that they will put out about half of what they are rated...

series/parallel to make 2ohm is your only option.
Thats wat i thought that 2ohm was his only option but he didnt wanna believe me i figured id throw it up to sum people that would know better than me thanx for the help...!! and yea its one ohm stable..its like the 2000watt amp..yea i know theyre sh!t so it gets about 1200rms..piece of junk ne ways thnx again lol
