Wow.. this is trippin me out.. weird

Hey guys, have some more problems here but now its getting ridiculous, i have a brand new crunch 1500 going to my atlas as12 through kicker 4awg with an extra duralast car battery wired in, anyway i thought my old amp was blown so i traded in for this one and im still having the same problems, what happens is the sub hits for about 5 seconds and then gets really quiet and makes sort of a vibrating frequency, now when i had the sub out the tinsels were attached, spider was not torn, cone wasn't cracked and the sub moved freely when pushed on, so i tried putting a different amp on to see if i had a bad one, nope that amp went straight into protect, so then i hooked up a different sub to the 2nd amp to see if it was the sub, and it made the same vibrating frequency just as my original sub and amp did. Now it gets weirder, i figured maybe something was wrong with the 2nd battery so i disconnected it and ran the wires directly from under the hood to the 2nd amp to the 2nd sub, again it went straight into protect. nothing. same thing when we hooked the 2nd amp up to my sub. protect nothing. THEN we tried hooking up the 2nd battery to the 2nd amp to the 2nd sub, and it would hit but the power light would dim every hit.

Sounds like u might want to read the gain setting tutorial.

Sounds like an input issue. Disconnect your RCAs and see if it still goes into protect. Try speaker level inputs or some other source unit.

ya i messed with it for like 4 hours tonight and found out it was a bad remote wire, when i jumped the remote wire everything worked great with the new amp ( for now lol) so i have to rerun a new wire and hope that solves it, thanks for the help guys
