Wow I got a problem...

This morning I tried to go to work, when I tried to start my car all it did was make like a electric shock noise from under the hood. The battery wasent dead because I could still play my music turn lights on and off and the such. Any suggestions? It ran fine last night when I parked it.

I have noticed recently that it has been making a wierd noise while under load. Kinda like a rod knock I guess I have no idea? Think I blew my motor? Also it started smoking a little bit recently.

Batt's probably just low. Try to jump it?

Battery is fine I already checked it. On monday I'm gonna be taking it to the shop.

I whanted to try and turn it back on again today but my mom left my key on acc when I asked her to turn it over for me and I didn't check so it killed it.

No it dosent crank it just makes this wierd electric noise like a shorted wire or something.

i still say low battery. jump it and see if it works.

when my batt is low, the stereo plays and lights come on... but it just clicks when i try to start it.

Starter solenoid.

They make a static sound when they're too burned to make a good enough contact to feed juice to the starter.

Blah I'm gonna push start it tommrow and run it around the block and let my battery come back to life and then get some videos
