I just got my new amp in today, and got everything installed.

I have my old amp wired to my two rear speakers, and my new amp is wired to my subs.

Only my old amp got power, but the speakers wouldn't play. So I disconnected the old amp, and checked over all my connections, and still nothing...

Why.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I am just so down about this.

Need some details on how it's all wired up before we can really help...
All give you info, tell me if you need more.

-Both the remote turn on leads are connected to the red wire on my wiring harness (where it was connected to while it worked)

-Both the power cables are connected to the positive terminal on the battery.

not exactly sure what you want. The amps are on separate pre-amp out channels.

I checked the fuses, they all look good, but on the amp that gets no power. The fuses that are on the amp equal to 90amps, and the one on the wire is an 80amp.

Is the amp even powering up? Do you have a DMM as that would help a lot? Grounds are solid? RCA's connected? Lots of things that could be wrong.

I'd disconnect everything and start over, one amp at a time until it's working, then wire up the 2nd one.

No power at all.

Alright. I took everything apart today, and put just the new amp on, and it worked. So why wouldn't it be working with two amps? Can I not just connect the wires to the battery? Do I need some splitter or something?

Your remote output of your deck isnt putting out enough voltage to turn them both on probably

but you said red wire? Im guessing thats your switched wire for your hu so why arent you using the remote output of the deck?

your probably gonna need a relay

Yeah.. As you saw above I got the new amp working when it was ALONE. So today I finally got out to get a distro block. I take everything out, and hook it all back up again. Guess what??? No power!!!! Only my OLD amp gets any power. So I disconnect the old one, and try both REM's in my new amp, I try running it directly to the battery (no distro block), I checked the fuses, moved the ground to a new spot where it had worked before, checked and double checked everything was plugged in right (red->red, white->white...) So now I'm not sure where to go... It seems I have done everything in my power to make it work... I know the amp isn't dead, b/c it just worked two days ago. I just put my subs in a new box, but I don't see why that would effect power getting to my amp...

I'm to the point where I need a second opinion, someone else to look at it, but I don't know anyone who knows anything about this stuff, and I am new to it, so I'm sure that there is something I may have done wrong...

Right now I am leaving it all disconnected while I wait for a new idea or something...

pics of exactly what ur trying to do?

do u have a digital multimeter (or test light at least)

u should have one wire from battery to back distro (fused block) to both amps,

remote hooked up to blue wire on back of stereo and

amps grounded to bare metal
