I may be getting 2 TS-W3004SPL's and i wanna know if my MTX 1501d is gonna get the job done. Anyone have any ideas? How much does it cost to have it modded?

should be fine. run 'em at 1ohm if the MTX is stable at 1ohm.

is it possible for me to mod this myself? i've read somewhere that it's just a resistor or something you remove from the board. anyone?

if ur gettin 2 of those they are dual 4 subs so either 1 or 4

why not get 2 3002spls or the newer models

cuz i'm gettin them for a trade. i can mod this amp to do ~1800w@1. i just dont know how. or i could get my other 1501d fixed and have one for each sub...hmm...

thats what i would do....... because still if theres something in the amp to stop it from going to 1 ohm dont you think its there for a reason......

I believe if you call MTX they will tell you what to remove. I run mine at 1ohm all day have for a while and as long as you have it on a good electrical it will give you a nice amount of power.

how many volts does it run on at 1ohm? i think i read 18v. how would i keep my electrical at 18v? i may just wait til i get my other amp fixed to put these in.
