Wow the about the exact opposite of eveything I have heard. I heard there have been huge improvments on the 06s

it was more directed toward the guy who made the comment about it not being like a typical scammer...

all i wanted to do is let the thread starter to be warned, sometimes its a lil extra research like i did that can save u some money.

I hear you thats why I made sure to use pay pal and read his feedback thats about all the research I knew of

u read his feedback but u didnt notice that of all the things he has sold this is the only car audio item. On top of that he is selling for a killer price and a large load of them.

Thats what makes it fishy and unless u opted for the buyer protection all PP will try to do is get ur money back... But if he takes the money out ur SOL

'03 had serious cone issues, problem was pretty much solved for '04/'05. '06 handle more power, and the cone redesign from '04 is still intact.

i just think they're a drastic departure from what made L7's great

yes, a lot of people complained about how sloppy they got in their huge boxes, but they were never FOR SQ people

I loved my old 2003's because they were a reasonably priced middle-of-the-road speaker that got LOUD easily, and could handle decent amounts of power

now they're tweaked to stay tight, while still being able to handle huge enclosures, and they require WAAAAAAAAAAAY more power to get loud because of it

i wouldn't have bought a $300 sub if i knew i'd have to buy a $600 amp to push the **** thing

if i knew they need 1500+ to get as loud as the old ones did off of 1000w, i would've gotten an L5

as power hungry as they are anymore, you may as well skip the L7 and get a solox, cause the L7's are past the needs of 'ordinary' consumers for a daily speaker setup

Make sure you pay with a CC... I got scammed on E-bay before, Paypal didn't do shat for me... CC refunded the entire purchase for me
