wouldd like help with speaker wires asap. plz? questions confusing me.

Well unless you have wireless speakers, what you should start by doing is finding the speakers. Fortunately, the fact that this is a Civic and a 2 door and a DX makes a difference, as other cars use those wireless speakers....

If you can't find the wires, let's start with the basics. Find the car. Found it? Good job. Now, open the door. You should have no problem finding the speakers. I think there is one in each of the front doors and one in each side of the rear deck in that car. You may have to remove some interior to get access to the speakers. Now, are you looking at the speakers? There will be two wires attached to each speaker, follow those wires from the speaker and check for cuts. 99% chance there are no cuts, and if there are what you do to fix it depends on how it's damaged. If a little bit of insulation is cut, wrap some electrical tape around it. If the wire is broken, you can either replace the wire, or solder it together and heatshrink it, or tie the two pieces of wire together and electrical tape it, your choice.

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
