Would this setup work?

Hey guy's i'm new to this forum and somewhat new to car audio. It's addicting but it's depressing when you don't have much money to spend.. Anyways I have been looking for a budget system that will kick hard. My goal is to get some window flexes or around there.

Two Sundown Audio SA-15 D4's (4-ohm)

One SPL GLA1 6000D Gorilla Serios Monoblock

I would provide links but I don't have the permissions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Those are the two subs and amp that I have been looking at for awhile now and I really want to hear opinions on both. I know the subs will kick but i'm not to sure about the amp mainly because of such the high RMS rating for the cheap price.. I would bridge the two subs so they go down to 2-ohms and run them so they both get 1250 each. If I did my math correctly I would overpower it by 50 watts each sub.. CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG PLEASE! I saw a review some places saying that it's not worth your time or money for that amp but it's very tempting but I haven't heard any good reasons of why it wouldn't work.. Don't worry about the head unit and such I mainly want to figure out the subs and amps first and I already have a few things. So any better suggestions to power these subs and get the most potential power out of them? Keep in mind my price range for the amp is around the same price as the GLA1 but around $300 is my max for a monoblock..

I have a feeling there is something massively wrong with this setup and I would love assistance before I screw myself..

Restart your whole process if you're going for a budget system. Sundowns are priced fairly high and I guarantee you that amp puts out nowhere near rated power. What's your TOTAL budget, and what do you have already?

What's this v2 nonsense?

OP, don't get the SPL amp. There's a reason you won't see us advocating monoblock power that seems too high for the price point and that's because it is. If you want gobs of power for cheap, mclerico is selling an Audiobahn that will do more than enough for a pair of SAs (yes 800 total is enough) and will only put you out 60 bucks. Try and beat that deal.

I'm looking to spend around $1000 little less if it can be done.. This would go in a 95 surburbian so plenty of space.. i got a pioneer head unit.. I have the wiring kit from my system now.. this is what i plan on getting rid off: two 2002 kicker comp vrs in a sealed box and a boss phantom amp (i hate this amp) currently rumnnimg stock speakers with no amp...the system i just explaind is in my 99 dodge intrepid but im sellimg it

Another tip... When you're on a budget, used equipment is your best friend. Check out the classifieds here and even craigslist.. Most of craiglist is crap or overpriced, but you'll find an occasional gem.

Really? Wtf is this? Us snoop making profiles again like he did b4? LOL!!!

Buy used! There are so many fantastic guys on here who buy top quality stuff and even they eventually upgrade, capitalize on that! Same with subs. Search the forum for different kinds of subs, there are so many reviews and so many people with so much knowledge it's amazing. With all that you should be able to find a good middle-of-the-road sub that fits budget and will thump your ear drums out.

Also, I'm sure someone else already said on their post but if you actually get something with legit 6000 watts you're going to need to do some serious power upgrades when done all out can cost twice your budget. Good luck to ya!
