I have a pair of beyma midbass woofers and a pair of eclipse components. all are 6.5" speakers. i saw the new MTX Thunder TC 4 channel amp 400 watts rms. my question is what is the actual power output of MTX amps generally? also would this amp push my speakers good? the amp is saw is 200x2 @ 4ohms bridged. would this amp push more.If so how much more power? the amp has two 30 amp fuses.

What is the amp model? It sounds like it is rated at 50 x 4 @ 4 ohms. I am an avid MTX amp user and all the ones I have used do 105-120% of rated power. The amp you are looking at will definitely sound better than if the speakers were on head unit power, but you should probably look for something a bit bigger depending on what eclipse comps you have
