Would these be good inside speakers?

Infinity Kappa 693.5i 6"x9"

Infinity Kappa 63.5i 6-1/2"

with a Rockford Fosgate 4040 on them?

Yes that would work.

Another option to look at is having a just a 6.5" component set up front in kick panels(or doors, etc). Then you wouldnt even need rear fill

Infinity makes great speakers. I'm sorry to say I csan't say the same for their drivers which tend to blow with a moderate amount of power. I think there is about 5 people on the forum that you can ask about that.
