how sure are you? the other guy said its proven that the r's are louder.

now remember everyone, i have a DB drag commin up with the kid in the hummer (read my thread from yesterday) and im going to beat him but dont know what to get.

Weird. I know that TommyK and others have found Type R's to be louder. I've heard from a ton of spl guys that sx's just plain out ****. For experience, I gained nearly a dB just by switching to a Type R from a L7.

guess it depends on power/box.. but there pretty close.. the sx sounds alot better though..

The Type X more of a SQ sub. If you want loud/numbers, this isn't the sub to get.

Would the SX subs be able to meet my needs if my needs would be to hit really low bass, be loud, move alot of air through the car (so i can do hairtricks with gurls), and clean bass?
