I have been reading around for a few months now and every time I think I made up my mind I come up with another plan. For the life of me I cannot make up my mind I am so indecisive about this purchase because I want to get the most for my money. So I. will tell you my old plan and then on to the new plan(s).
Im not sure what vehicle I will be installing the sub stage into. I wrecked my truck and am in the market for a new ride. I know that makes it hard but I will be buying something can hold at least two 12" subs.
Next I want a good mix of SQ AND SPL more on the SQ side though. I have $600 to spend TOTAL. I will be building the enclosure according to whatever subs I buy.
Original plan:
Buying a SS Rubicon1.1600D - $230
Then buy a 15" SSA ICON - $285
Now I am wondering if I should get that same amp and a pair of Sundown SA 12" or a pair of Alpine Type R 12". I know the more cone area the better the bass. Also now that I am looking to buy a car and not installing in a truck I have more room for more than one sub. Please give me some advice guys I cannot make up my mind.
How would you spend 600 dollars on just a sub and amp if you had a car with enough space for say 2 12" or more? TYVM fellas. Trying to get the most out of your money can really be a headache sheesh.
