Worst install I've ever seen

This is how we do in Alabama...

My friend (who apparently is handicapped mentally) took a home DVD player. Powered it with an inverter. Used an rca plug and stripped it to expose the wire. Tapped that wire into his shelf speaker box for signal. Used the speaker outputs on the DVD player, and connected those to the speaker wire too. Only pictures can do justice:

NO, not hidden. His wiring is directly from the dvd player, and goes up & over the backseat and into the trunk. The extension cord from his inverter goes in between the front seats and is bundled up in the floorboard.

I didn't make fun of him or anything like that. Matter of fact, I told him it was pretty crazy. He was pumped. It was definately ingenuous.
