Worst car audio moment

Mine was when i was driving threw town, i had 4 12" kicker comps. Then I smell something so i shut my radio off and before i kno it my whole trucks filled with smoke. My remote line burnt to hell, fried my amp and all my speakers. I pull over rip my remote line out of my truck, put a hole in two of my subs and put a dent in my door. I was so pissed. Burnt some of my carpet but i look at is like my truck didnt catch on fire. worst day of my life.

Anyway, mine was when my car was stolen and lost over 6g's worth of audio and rims combined. Was a pretty bad day, but shit happens.

When my Avionixx 1200.2 shit on it self and put out DC voltage. 52V on one side. Absolutely RUINED my IKP's.

the day(one day after i got it back actually) my xx-goliath took a shat on itself for the SECOND time, making it an outstanding 2 days of total use with it, and 2 hard protects :-\

thats the worst car audio story so stfu....

and when everything went i had a 2500 watt spl amplifier, and it just took a turd on me and fried everything...so i guess thats what i got for buying cheap shit.

Ok...Not really an audio moment,but in general.Had a 96 f-150,just started to fix it up.I dozed off coming home from working all night.Completly totaled,and it only had 15000 miles on it.

My worst one is when me and my friend spent two days trying to get his stuff installed in his Scion. Everything that could've went wrong, did. It wouldn't have been as bad if he had just got an aftermarket headunit but he wanted to stay with the stock one, so we had to use a **** LOC which was a PITA.

About a day after we got it installed, his amp actually caught fire, but he got it put out, luckily. Audiobahn FTL.

had a buddy helping me install an alarm and flip out dvd. i decided to get a head start on him so we didn't have to spend a large part of sunday doing both. i went ahead and installed the dvd on saturday. he showed up to help with the alarm only for both of us to find out the flip out had been stolen and the whole dash panel completely broken to pieces.

Not really car audio, but I did find one of the magnets off one of the components at the crash scene the next day. Kinda cool I guess, but I have no freaking clue how the magnet actually gout out of the door though
