I have a 1997 Toyota t100 xtra cab 3.4l v6. i have a thiram's 3k a and a CT sounds 400w 4 channel amp with a big 3. I'm running a avatar stu-15 3000w rms 6000w max. I have a 2nd battery which is the XS Power D375 XS Series 12V 800 Amp AGM battery. am getting ready to upgrade to a 240 amp alt and I want to know if there is anything I should worry about or change. let me know if you have any questions let me know and anything helps. I would run 1/0 ga supply to a fused Distro block to amps and a Solid Distro. block for 1/0ga ground. Fuse the 1/0ga at the Batt (250-300) ANL fuse will work very well and run the supply to 2nd battery, 22nd batt do the Mini ANL fuse distro there or regular sized ANL. Should be good to go

Thats a Dammned good truck man. it will prob. run for over 300k miles with basic maintenance

If you can get an alt larger then 240 amp, I would. 240 is close, and would probably work. I even said in another thread it would. You also have a 400w amp, and you could probably run a bit more out of that if you wanted to. I see the 320 you posted. You might not need it, but I think you're going to be close, and I would rather go big then small.
