need some help. i started at kohls and actually like the job, that and the job market around here sucks. went to the dr. which i didnt want to cause of no insurance, but anywho. i have heel pain, bone spurs of that nature. well today i got off my feet and it is killing me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rage.gif.0ad8a6e5565b5fddce406566fdd05149.gif anyone have anything i could use or suggest i use so i dont lose my job. already passed a drug test so im not worried, i was thinking about one of those ankle type braces. also have like 3 motrins to take ever so often, but the pain freakin sucks. any suggestions or home remidies..lol:nerd:

Im in the same boat as you basically. I work at lowes and love it. But Nov. 2005 i had hip surgery. I fractured my Femural Neck and they did a hip pinning. 2 years later and i still have alot of trouble out of the hip. I dont need to be at work all doped up. I need to find something that will help and me still be sane.

Ohh for sure i dont want to be doped up, it just that after work it hurt i know a pu$$y i am. as for pads ..lol can you resommend some have you tried them, i imagaine dr.scholls that type. over the counter meds cant find any that work really.

I have the same problem, after I run I have really bad shin-splits to the point that I cannot stand. I tried some Dr. scholl's gel inserts and they do help a little, the only thing I don't like is that they slide up my feet quickly.

I know how you feel man. I have an ankle problem myself, and after about my 3rd hour of working, the pain becomes to unbearable that I can barely focus on my job anymore. After 4 years of working now, I've basically just come to **** it up since after taking motrin, advil, and any and all other over the counter pain relievers no longer do shit for me after taking them for so long and periodically.

Go to a podiatrist and they will be able to get you some really nice shoe inserts that can help a lot more than the generic fit ones at a CVS. I have a pair, but like someone else mentioned, they tend to slide around a lot.
