im planning on getting 4 jl 12w3v3's and i want to get jl a1800 mono amp... if i wired all 4 woofers into a 2ohm load would there be enough watts goin to each woofer and how much would it be? if not ill just buy 2 of the same amp

How much rms can those jl's take per sub is the first question?

those jl's are 300 rms, giving you a total of 1200 rms. the amp is 800 watts rms at 12 volts (2 ohm). 1000 rms if you can keep it fed 14.5 volts. i'd want more power. why do you have to go with that specific amp? alot of amps will put out the 1200 rms you need.

because there going in a galaxie im restoring so i want somethin clean and professional looking and ive decided to go with all jl stuff this time...im upgradin the alternator from a 60 amp to a 100 amp and doin the big 3...would i still be at 12 volts or would that take it up any?
