ya i gave up on the screws.

lol it will just be fine with the glue and sealing.

i blocked off the cutting area. so no one can get through. when thoes piceing were being cut. they got around tho.

Update time!

i finnished all the glueing and sealing.

lesson learned: never use brown caulk. its too messy and dirty. white caulk is better.

(that sounds better audibly)

Well the only thing I would suggest is using actual drywall screw countersunk. No matter how well you think the glue is gonna hold, it doesnt hurt to have a few screws in there, especially with larger subs.
