wood glue or caulking?

ok so im gonna be puttin my new box together tommarow, but im all out of caulking.......so is it ok if I seal all the edges with a thick layer of wood glue? using the glue as if it were caulking? or should i just get some caulking?

Either one should work fine!! Just make sure a little squeezes out when you tighten the joint

i have found that puttin the box together then using a glue gun to seal it works pretty good but takes alot of glue sticks

I use liquid nails! Mainly because it's cheap and cures fairly fast. But theres lots of stuff out there that you can use.

i used both on my box....but if you do a good job with the glue...it will work fine.

hot glue???? are you ok...use liquid nails construction or projects glue...it works the best..

i glue and screw the box together first then seal it off with a glue gun. i found that i like it better than liquid nails and pleasew dont dis untill you try
