Well hear goes another y vs. x sub thread I have searched and no I can't buy both subs and test them out so I'm looking for your guys input.

Daily driver sql setup

2 15" L7's sealed box

1 12" solo-x ported box tuned to around 35hz or lower

Both setups would be getting from 2000rms-2500rms what do you guys think.

don't think you'll get sql from either setup but if it were me i would do 2 L7's

I dont think u are gonna be able to get any sq from a solox thats a no brainer,but the L7's in the right install,with that power would wang pretty hard

Id do the 15's, but then again I wouldnt do that setup for a SQL system

one of my best friends has a solo x 12. SQ isnt bad at all.

id take teh solo x.

my friend, zsondy1 had his in a 4 cube box @ 36 and it slammed like crazy.

i dunno, pm Zsondy1, its a toxicdesigns box made by pete from Team Toxic Bass

it was tuned to 36 but went wayyyy down into the mid 20's it was nuts.

thanks jordan yea i was actually thinkin about buying zsondy sub if i was going to get an x just have to get my other shit sold and i like that it's dual 1 ohm since i have a lanzar opti2000 so its does like 1950rms at .5 ohm
