I'm trying to figure out a box for a pair of RE10's i'm planning to get. RE reccomends 1cu.ft. box for an RE10. Since i want to run 2 RE10's i figure that i need a box that 2cu.ft. since i'm doubling the box volume for a single RE10 (2x1cu.ft.). I came up with some dimensions that got the box's internal volume to 2.005. the box dimensions are; H:12" W:31" D:12"11/16". I want to use a round port so i used the12volt.com's port length calculator to figure out the port length. I put in the total box volume (2.005cu.ft) port diameter (3") and tuning freq. (32hz) and it gave me a length of 7.08381". Do my calculations sound right? Also i was looking at www.bcae1.com's port calulator, but i'm not sure what the subs "speaker displacement" is, can anyone enlighten me? I thought it was the displacement the sub has within the box , but i'm not sure how to get it for the RE10.
