I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with the stock navigation system, NOT Boston. I'd like to upgrade the front door speakers first. Does anyone on here have experience with this equipment? Should I go with a 2-way or 3-way 6x9? I'm pretty sure the front door speakers in mine are "full range." My guess would be that I should pick up a 3-way speaker.
I'll either do the rear door 6.5" "full range" speakers or the dash 3.5" "high frequency" speakers next. I'm not looking to switch out the OEM radio at this time, so I'll probably need something that sounds decent on low(ish) power.
I'm not looking to compete, I just want decent-to-good sound. The stock setup almost sounds muffled. I've seen the recommendation for Focal Auditor speakers for my setup, but any other recommendations would be appreciated. I just want the high frequencies to be a little more clear and the maybe a hair more bass.
