Im basically trying get voice to come from my surround sound and video to tv all from screen mirroring from my android.seems like i need some sort of adapter?

Your stereo system must pick up what's being played on the tv as a source.

This can be done by adding an extra cable from your amplifier to your tv. an RCA to 3.5mm jack. RCA to the amp, the 3.5mm jack going to the headphone jack on the tv.
