i got a cheapy crap running to my crappy amp and subs does wiring matter like if i got konic (dont recall brand) wiring will it help sound? and should i get an 8 Gage wiring and take the 10 out since i might move on up? thanks

Without wattage numbers I'm not to sure, but do at least the 8 gauge if you plan on uprading.

Fuck 8 awg. if you plan on upgrading, go to 4 awg. If you plan on BIG upgrades.. go all out and go to 1/0 awg.

You should do your big three upgrade before you look for a new alt. Do you get dimmage now? The big 3 should fix most if not all of it.

As far as the wire goes. Rewire the main line with the bigger wire. The remote wire can stay at 18awg or something similar. The RCA's dont matter, just as long as they won't fall apart on you.

Wire is wire, there are no brands that are better than others. When you pay more for wiring supplies, you are paying for the brand name. Not the quality of the wire.

8 guage will be fine if you don't plan on going above 1000 total watts in your system.

I would go with the 4 guage, though. Amp kits are kind of pricey and you only need to pay about 5 bucks more for 4 guage opposed to 8 guage.
