hey how do I wire a d1 subwoofer to a .5ohm load? Also on the AQ HDC it has that 8 gauge wiring does it matter if I use speaker wire to the terminals n to the amp?

what power are you running? chances are pretty good 10 or 12 gauge would be enough

you wire it in parallel. use the largest speaker wire you can get your hands on, or double up on smaller wire.
