wiring xbox into car

okay so today i finally got around to wiring the inverter directly to the battery and i grounded it behind the rear panel, but i still get the buzzing in the speakers and faint lines going thru the screen. Anyone know a way to fix this? Would a loose ground, or maybe i didnt sand thru the paint/primer enough under the ground?

Your not going to fix it unless you spend a lot of dough on a true sine wave inverter. The cheap ones are modified sine wave and you will likely get interference like you are experiencing.
