Wiring Up Myself -- What do I need??

they are still pounding....and sound just as well as they did when I first got them:D

and I still drive them to their mech limits:laugh:
Haha glad to hear that man, a lot of people over look PG's RSD subs, but really they are pretty **** decent for that price. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Not to mention I think they look pretty sexy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

previous post edited, and hell yea. I am def impressed for the price I got them and the amount of power I am feeding them. They sound, levels and quality, outstanding.

Just watched the video and I will say, ****..

Haha. That's ridiculous //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

meh....I won't go as far as rediculous, but definitely more than I expected for some cheap 10's

and they are holding up well until I can get the Q I have always dreamed of:blush:

That much roof flex coming from two tens that are firing BACK, off of 1200w, is ridiculous in my opinion. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

Not to mention those ports look so tiny //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif, may just be my eyes though

no...they are fairly small

but I had no option because the box is 2ft^3/driver and tuned ~24hz. any larger port area and the box would have had to been massive.

How do you like them tuned so low? I've never actually heard a box tuned below 30 or so. Low end extension must be crazy strong tuned at 24, lol. I'm currently tuned at 35, but with an SPL sub sometimes you just gotta tune it up there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The low extension is incredible(you can ask tigerbass). I actually played a 22hz(pretty sure it was neway) 0db tone and watched the front passenger seat back rock front and rear:eek:

I absolutely love the tuning, but the original purpose was to get the enclosure's output the be as flat as possible. 23.7hz @ 2.26ft^3 was a "flat" response curve with -3db @ 22hz.

Red line is the flat response and black line is my enclosure.

The outcome is incredibly musical.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That is a nice response curve no doubt..

I'm sure that thing must sound amazing on music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif:yumyum:

I got the cheaper kit, and the only diff. in it and the more expensive one is that the one I got is a 2 channel RCA and the other is a 4 channel. Do I need the 4 channel?
