Wiring Two Dual Four Ohm

Yes.Wired parallel, the subs will be at 1ohm at the amp. Wire each voice coil + to + and - to -. Then run them to the amp. Rockford Fosgate and other sites have handy woofer wiring wizards, which will help you with the configuration.

Again, the formula is...

Series: add up the ohms for each voice coil.

Parallel: divide the impedence of each voice coil by the total number of coils.

So if you have two dual 4's, that's four coils. Wire 'em in parallel and that's 4/4 = 1ohm.

The kicker amp is not 1 ohm stable. If you wire to 1 ohm it will go into protect. You have to series the woofers then parallel them. You will only be able to run it at 4 ohms.so you will get a little over 500 watts
