Wiring Troubles. Need Help.

Ok im hooking up my system and i keep blowing fuses. This is what i have:

4 gauge Power wire.

140 amp anl fuse.

going to a 2 farad cap.

2 (one to each amp) eight gauge power wires to the amps from the cap.

Then the ground wire of the amps back to the cap.

Then the cap grounded with a 4 gauge wire.

The wire is industrial grade and is said to withstand over 150 amps. The amps are orion one is a 600d and the other is a 8004.

The problem is I blew the 140 amp fuse right off the bat. the amps shouldnt be drawing the much because their gains are turned down a little.

I was wandering if the cap caused it to draw more amps?

What do I need to do to get this to work?

You won't need the cap in the first place. It wont do anything, and it'd be much easier to wire your setup without it. Maybe try that?
