Wiring to 1-ohm

Thats what I just did. When I got it there were 2 sets of wires. One set for one VC and another for the other. Both had negs and pos. At the amp I put both negs on the neg terminal and both pos on the positive terminal. Here is how it used to be:

you cant even wire a sub up, or under stand what your doing. how do you even set the gain on your amp dude, even ya dont even know the basics off car audio wiring. theres a million sites out there that have wiring wizzards. us them, perhaps get a mulit meter and confirm how you wired it.

Thats why Im asking. I just spent $500 on the sub, amp, and box materials. I want it done right.
