Wiring Speaker

I was wiring my speaker's voice coils to 2 ohms (DVC 4 Ohm) and the speaker wire kept sticking to the magnet. I dont think its a big deal, but I was just curious if it will affect the power traveling through the wires..

Also, if I wire two speakers to a 2 ohm load, and put both sets of wires into on amp channel, it will be 4 ohms right?

1. It shouldn't matter.

2. No, it' would be 1 ohm. Use the rockford fosgate wiring wizard: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard.asp

Okay so.... If I wire two speakers to 8 ohms and put it into one terminal, it would be 4ohms correct?
